I'm an artist who has an interest in the Mexican Day of the Dead and fashion. I was influenced by the beauty that is found in death through Mexican art and fashion exhibitions such as Alexander McQueen and the Vogue 100. The continuity of life after death through nature and the contrast of material goods like clothing verses natural elements is what drives the work. I use acrylic paint, dried flowers and feathers. Many of the natural materials were collected by hand near my home, which is blessed with woodland.
